I am glad to commend any creative community-wide effort that leads to public witness to our Lord Christ in this land. The Easter Cross witness gave many Christians an excuse to “out” themselves. They found other Christians in their neighborhoods for the first time in their lives. In fact, entire streets were filled with these Crosses–a glorious sight indeed. The project also gave a sense of unity along with occasions to talk about commonalities in the Lord Jesus Christ. Bruce Fogerty is one of the finest creative minds I know, with a networking boldness that extends across American Christian leadership.

This year, we gave “He is Risen” crosses to full-time DBU faculty/staff to place in their yards. God uses this simple tool to remind people of the significance of the Resurrection story and to provide them with an effective way to tell their neighbors, family, and friends about our living Savior. I think these crosses are a great way to get an entire congregation involved in sharing the good news of Christ. I look forward to seeing more of these crosses in the future.

You don’t know me, but Bruce Fogerty is a friend of mine. I teach at Reformed Seminary in Orlando and do some books and media. Just wanted you to know that Bruce is the “real deal”… out of the box sometimes… but the very real deal. His love for Christ and his willingness to do anything that Christ be glorified is an amazing and wonderful thing to behold. I’m proud to be his friend and to commend him to you.
I have known Bruce Fogerty for many years and know him to be of the highest integrity as well as having a great heart for evangelism and the poor. So I heartily encourage you to work with him on The Easter Cross Witness, project. If I may be of further help do not hesitate to call me.
