The Easter Cross Witness was created to give Christians an opportunity during the Easter Season to witness to the Risen Christ.  A cross is placed blank side out during Lent and is turned on Resurrection Sunday to declare, “He is Risen…And It is Finished!  The Easter Cross Witness was created to be a community celebration and witness. It is the prayer that The Easter Cross Witness gives us an opportunity to share with others the hope that is within us.  

• The Easter Cross Witness gives believers a tangible way to express their faith during Holy Week. It is the prayer that the silent witness of the crosses placed in yards will give opportunity to tell others about the hope that is within us.

• Each cross is distributed with a prayer sheet.(prayer sheet attached)

• As thousands of crosses go up, this emboldens the timid to participate.  Many have expressed this community celebration has helped them to begin a dialogue with their neighbors for the first time about their faith and hope in Jesus Christ.

• The Easter Cross Witness binds the body of Christ together as churches of many denominations gather together under the cross in unity.  We are better together.

•   Begun in 2005, Tens of thousands of crosses to be distributed in the metro-plex in 2007 by God’s Grace through over 200 churches, backed by the prayers of the local church with 14 different denominations (the toe, the eye, the hand!) joining together in this witness. The Father is pleased when the family works together.

• Crosses come with stake and prayer sheets attached packed in boxes of 40 for $160. Delivery is provided for churches in Dallas .

• Single Easter crosses are still available for this years witness @ Logos Bookstore in Snider Plaza & Jackson’s Home & Garden on Lemmon Avenue .
